Gordon Denmark, Owner

Gordon Denmark, a founding partner of Henkel Denmark, has made landscape maintenance his focus as part of this award-winning team. Working with many well-known, regional clients such as the University of Kentucky, Embassy Suites, and Samaritan Hospital, Gordon has developed invaluable relationships with clients who trust him to maintain their landscaping projects long after installation.

Gordon received the Crowne Excellence Award as Associate Member of the Year from the Lexington Apartment Association three consecutive years. Henkel Denmark has produced more award-winning apartment communities than any other landscape contractor in the region.

After attending Doane College in Crete, Nebraska, Gordon moved to the West Coast for 18 years, working in landscape management and real estate development. He moved to Lexington in 1992. He finds landscaping “has a sense of accomplishment I thrive on by building teams and transforming the landscape.”

Gordon and his wife, Kathy, like to travel with their three children. He also enjoys playing paintball with them, and attending his son’s rock concerts. Email Gordon
